Obituary of Iris Annette Ballance

Iris passed away peacefully on April 15, 2024 at the age of 99. Wife of the late George T. Ballance (1979). Loving mother of Judith (late Paul 2002), Robert (Wendy), and Douglas (Debra). Devoted and loving grandmother of Sean, Tom, Kelly, Caitlin, Jonathan, Travis, and Erin. Great Grandmother to Alexa, Payton, Sidney, Casey, Nathan, Joelle and most recently her namesake Iris (born April 2024). Best friend of the late Carol Davies (2015) and her family. Iris enjoyed all types of family gatherings, cooking, entertaining and laughing and dancing with friends and family. And occasionally playing a slot machine. The family would like to express our gratitude to the staff, her caregivers, nurses, and PSW’s at the Village of St. Clair. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service in celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
