Obituary of John Charles Barnett

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of John, on March 18, 2024 at 72 years of age. Beloved spouse and spiritual partner of 36 years to Ann Findlay. Dear father of Shane Findlay (Tracy Griffin), Lisa Findlay (the late Jeff Poulin), and Roxanne Findlay (James Armstrong). Adored Grandpa of Kyler, Jake and Zach, and great-grandfather of Elysium and Wynter. He will be sadly missed by his nieces Melanie and Laurie, and by many friends and extended family. John was a proud and devoted Social Worker and Feminist. He was very artistic, expressing his creativity through drawings and poetry. John loved his great-grandbabies, they were the world to him. Cremation has taken place and arrangements are entrusted to the Cremation Society of Windsor & Essex County, 3260 Dougall Ave., South Windsor (519-969-5449).
