Paul was a great friend of mine, we used to hitchhike to Amherstburg, play pool and sometimes go to school. Then we graduated to Paul’s Volkswagen in the days of Sam Roy, Dave Renaud and Carl Hilmarsson, and even a few others that we could stuff into that Volkswagen. Then we graduated onto motorcycles which was a whole other story. We also enjoyed a lot of hunting on the river with Paul. And the numerous New Years parties and camping trips that we went to with Debbie and Paul, we always had a good time with plenty of laughter. He was Incredible. Miss them both dearly and will love them always. Eddie Strickland

I remember Paul best in the good ol 70's when he and Davey Strickland were like Butch Cassidy and the Sundance kid. He was actually shy and humble and we adored him. Not sure why and how he got the nickname "Rhino" but he didn't seem to mind. So sad to hear of his passing and my condolences to the family are heartfelt.

Dear Lafromboise family,,my deepest condolences,,I met paul when i was a teenager, at the Windsor Boxing Club,,he was a gentlemen then,,,and a great soul,,,he was a person u could count on,all the time.Love Ya buddy, rest in peace.
