Obituary of Karen Claire McVittie

Passed away peacefully at home on October 24, 2023 at 64 years of age, surrounded by family. Loving wife of the late Darryl Demian. Beloved daughter of Monica and Mac McVittie. Loving mother of Nicole and Larry. Will be missed by her 4 grandchildren. Loving sister of Cindy (Jim), Michele (Dean), Marc (Janice) and Danny (Barb). Will be missed by many other family members and close friends. Karen’s passions was her horse. She loved the outdoors, loved to smile and was up for any kind of adventure. Cremation services were held, with a celebration of life in the spring of 2024. “I hope you never lose your sense of wonder. You get your fill to eat, but always keep that hunger. May you never take one single breath for granted. God forbid love ever leave you empty handed. I hope you still feel small when you stand beside the ocean. When ever one door closes, I hope one more opens. Promise me that you’ll give faith a fighting chance. And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance… I hope you dance !!”
