Sending condolences to Miss Barnett’s loved ones. Miss Barnett was my grade 5 teacher at Prince of Wales school in 1978/79. She made social studies especially fun and interesting. I remember enjoying food days where we brought in food from different countries around the world. Our field trip was a lot of fun that year. She took us canoeing on River Canard. I ran into her when I was about 20 years old. She called me by name. Miss Barnett was an amazing teacher.
