Dear Cheryl and Family,
We will very much miss Ken but he couldn't have had a better life thanks to you, family and friends, he may have left us too soon but hopefully he's in a better place now with the person he came into this life with.
Love you and thank you so much for everything you have done.

Dear Cheryl & Family: There are no words to express how very sorry we are to lose Ken. He was a man of few words, but when he spoke it was worth listening. He had a wealth of knowledge to share, and funny stories to tell. I will always remember him taking me for boat rides when the water was as "clear as glass". He used to like to tease me about going faster than I liked. We are thankful to Ken for the times he helped fix electrical problems or advised us how to fix them. We certainly will miss him. We will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers.
With much love,
Brenda & Bob.

Ken my brother, my friend, my mentor, you were always there when I needed help with electrical or boating stuff or for anything. I'm going to miss driving by your house seeing you on your front porch and stopping to share a cold beer and talking with you, or when you would join us for one of our fish fries. I can imagine Keith came to meet you at the big gates and take you to see everyone. We are going to miss you very much Ken LOVE YOU Nancy,Brian, and Family.

Ken, You’re still here in my heart and mind,
still making me laugh cause your stories live on.
I hold you in a thought and I can feel you.
I feel you and this gives me strength and courage.
The tears I have cried for you could flood the earth
and I know you would have wiped each one away.
For you Ken, I will always hold you in my heart.
I will be missing you everyday till the end of time,
I love you and miss you.
You will forever be my big brother.
I shall miss your voice, and your smiling face.
I think of you and wonder why?
I might cry or smile,
But at the end of the day, I know you are at peace.
I’ll see you – on the other side – of the stars

My sweet Kenneth. You always liked to light a candle or make a fire. The kids and I now light one for you. You fought so hard and tried to comfort us, especially at the end. We held hands to give one another the strength we needed. This was one thing that you could not fix. Although only days ago, it seems so much longer. As you quietly slipped away, a big part of me was leaving with you. That emptiness is replaced by the love and memories we shared. Things did not work out, as they should have. Our strong love and bond, is what is greatly cherished. You struggled to say how much you loved us and how sorry that you were that you could not come home this time, for me. The last couple of months were extremely difficult but those shared moments meant so much. Conversations were difficult to have but together we could always managed. You said we were partners and could get through things, as long as, we were together. I know inside me, that you are still with me, now and always. We never doubted our love in one another. Although we wanted to beg you to stay, we knew it was time to let you go. Whatever is beyond our life here, you are no longer in pain and we hope you are together with so many others who passed.

Uncle Ken had a genuine, quiet smile to match his personality. He was a man who loved the outdoors and could make you smile with his dry humour, one of his qualities I truly enjoyed…that and his amazing collection of hats! There wasn’t an animal that didn’t find his side and feel his love. We will miss you Uncle Ken and cherish the memories you helped create.

Always loved stories and history that my Uncle shared of LaSalle, the river, and the local area. He always seemed to know things that you would not otherwise be aware of. He taught me about the river and boating - all of the enjoyment I have with this today I owe to him. Thanks for memories Uncle Ken, we will miss you.

The beach photo with us kids - with no Dave - is at Point Pelee, we had a cottage there for a couple of summers. I seem to remember Ken and Keith and Phil burying me in the sand up to my neck ( laying down ) and then running away. Till Mom came out and yelled " Get back here and unbury your sister !!! " Lots of fun those summers.
