Obituary of Colin Botsford

Passed away peacefully on June 17, 2021 at the age of 88. After 29 years employed at Chrysler Canada, Colin retired and became an avid blackjack player. (The dealers are now safe!) Colin had a loving jovial nature and enjoyed teasing any wait staff that served him with his one-liners. His favourite past times were playing chess, sudoku, kakuro and challenging puzzles. Father of Matt (Melanie) Hesketh. Proud grandfather of Cavan and Dillon. Reunited with his parents Alanson and Emily. Predeceased by sister Margaret Burn (Robert) of Thousand Oaks, California. Loving brother to James Botsford MD (Janice) of Chelsea, Michigan and Linda Liebscher (Hugh) of Richmond, British Columbia. Proud uncle to Robert, Bruce(deceased) and Ed Burn; Jim, Julie, Steven and Amelia Botsford; Sean (deceased), Heather and Kevin Liebscher. As per Colin’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at a later date.
