Obituary of Claudette Dufour

C’est avec une profonde tristesse que nous annonçons le décès de Claudette, le 4 janvier 2019 à l’âge de 80 ans, entourée par sa famille.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Claudette with loving family by her side on January 4, 2019 at the age of 80. Reunited with dearest husband Claude (2004) and daughter Johanne (1977). Loving mother of Lynn (Alex) Minigan, Daniel (Hilda), Laurie (Dan) Chetosky and Martine (Marc) Moncion. Proud grand-maman of Patrick, Shawn, Edwing, Wendy, Joey (Danielle), Jennifer, Jessica and great-grandmother of Hunter, Kayla, Lois, Kya, Peyton and Jacob. Loving sister of Jeanne, Georgette, Yvon, Louisette, Gabrielle. Predeceased by 6 brothers and 3 sisters as well as parents Émile and Marie Anne Marin. Claudette will be dearly missed by her family, many in-laws, nieces and nephews.

On Thursday, January 10th, family and friends will meet at Ste. Anne’s Church (12233 Tecumseh Rd E.) beginning at 10:00 followed by a Memorial Mass at 11:00.

In Claudette’s honour, a private cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to the Cremation Society of Windsor & Essex County (519-969-5449) 3260 Dougall Ave.
